There are a lot of harmful compounds in our everyday…
Florida is famous for a lot of things. Sunshine is certainly paramount among them, so much so that the state’s nickname reflects its sunny nature. Pretty beaches, great food, and a popular place to retire, Florida—southeast Florida in particular—is also known for its abundance of great places to shop. Whether you want to pick up a variety of great produce from a farmer’s market, peruse a jewelry store, or get some stylish new outfits, we’ve got you covered. Including both indoor and outdoor shopping opportunities, we’ve compiled a list of fantastic locales to satisfy your shopping fix.
Bayside Marketplace, Miami
How’d you like to go shopping right by the beach, with fresh air, blue sky, and a beach view all around you as you browse shop after shop? If so, hit up Bayside Marketplace, where you’ll find jewelry stores, a Harley Davidson location, technology stores, and a fair bit more. You can also take the time to go on a bilingual narrated cruise that’s docked at the marketplace.
Dolphin Mall, Miami
If you’re in the mood for something a little different and unique, check out the Dolphin Mall. Opened in 2011, it’s laid out with three “districts,” reflecting the beaches, boulevards, and fashion themes of Florida shopping outlets. The avenues of the mall are racetrack-inspired, making for a rather fun and interesting way to shop. The food court is rather large, seating 850, and featuring a wide variety of food options, including some Miami favorites like empanadas, Cuban and Latin-American options in addition to the typical mall fare. The shopping opportunities are equally diverse; you’ll walk by a Burlington Coat Factory and five minutes later may find yourself in Bass Pro Shop. Check out Dolphin Mall if you want a uniquely Miami-inspired shopping experience.
Aventura Mall, Aventura
Opened in 1985, Aventura Mall is truly massive, featuring 300 specialty stores like Herve Leger, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Faconnable, Henri Bendel, Ulysse Nardin, Montblanc, Hugo Boss, Breitling, and Michael Kors. And forget food courts; Aventura mall has 10 full-service restaurants within for your fine dining pleasure. It also boasts a beautiful contemporary art collection spread throughout the mall.
Sawgrass Mills, Sunrise
This mall truly has something for everyone, spanning 2.4 million square feet and 350 retail stores. You’ll find nearly all of the country’s favorite brands here, like Ralph Lauren, Bed Bath and Beyond, Target, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Marshalls. There’s also 40 fashion and beauty locations that don’t exist anywhere else in south Florida, like Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo Company, Burberry Factory Outlet, David Yurman, and Tory Burch. You’ll also want to hit up the Colonnade Outlets inside Sawgrass Mills for a taste of true luxury.
City Place, West Palm Beach
About as Unique and Glamorous as it gets, with both indoor and outdoor areas, City Place spans a colossal 72 acres and is home to national stores, restaurants, entertainment, and around 80 specialty shops. Embracing lovely Mediterranean architecture and boasting a stunning fountain in the middle of an open-air plaza, you may wonder if you stepped through a portal and ended up in the middle of a fancy European mall.
