Great Shopping in Florida

Florida is famous for a lot of things. Sunshine is certainly paramount among them, so much so that the state’s nickname reflects its sunny nature. Pretty beaches, great food, and a popular place to retire, Florida—southeast Florida in particular—is also known for its abundance of great places to shop. How’d you like to go shopping right by the beach, with fresh air, blue sky, and a beach view all around you as you browse shop after shop? If so, hit up Bayside Marketplace, where you’ll find jewelry stores, a Harley Davidson location, technology stores, and a fair bit more. You can also take the time to go on a bilingual narrated cruise that’s docked at the marketplace.

Dolphin Mall, Miami
If you’re in the mood for something a little different and unique, check out the Dolphin Mall. Opened in 2011, it’s laid out with three “districts,” reflecting the beaches, boulevards, and fashion themes of Florida shopping outlets. The avenues of the mall are racetrack-inspired, making for a rather fun and interesting way to shop. The food court is rather large, seating 850, and featuring a wide variety of food options, including some Miami favorites like empanadas, Cuban and Latin-American options in addition to the typical mall fare. The shopping opportunities are equally diverse; you’ll walk by a Burlington Coat Factory and five minutes later may find yourself in Bass Pro Shop. Check out Dolphin Mall if you want a uniquely Miami-inspired shopping experience.
