Spring 2017 is upon us, and there is so much…
Sometimes it becomes easy to get lost in our everyday lives and forget about all that we have to be grateful for. Most of us have just celebrated Thanksgiving with our families and loved ones. But are we really celebrating it for all that this beautiful festival means? Thanksgiving is all about showing gratitude and being grateful for what you have. Vine Vera believes that it might be an ideal time to help you remind of some of the things that you can be grateful for.
No matter how bad you think it is, life is always a gift. There are many people in the world who die because of droughts, terrorist attacks, poverty or disease. Be thankful that you got to live and exist in this world. Always be grateful for the chance to live.
Your parents are among your biggest fans and your best critics. They brought you into this world and love you way more than you can ever love them. All parents might not be great, but they did give you this life and let you live it. So be grateful to your parents for bringing you up and giving you unconditional love.
You’re born into a family, but you always choose your friends. Your friends are the family that you chose for yourself. Think about all the good times that you spent with your friends and be grateful for all those priceless moments.
Things might be difficult, but hey, you’re surviving. Think about the times when you supported someone despite the fact that you were in the most need of help. Think about when you smiled for someone when all you wanted to do was cry. Be grateful that you have the strength to live and take life head on.
Pets are one of the best examples of unconditional love in this world. They are always there to bring a smile to your face and they expect very little in return.
The chance to get educated
Being educated is actually a privilege. Think about all those children who live in areas that don’t have access to the most basic forms of education. Think of all those children who were forced to quit education and start working at a very young age because their family was in extreme poverty.
A home over your head
Whether you live in a flat, a bungalow, an apartment or a rental, at least you have a place to call home. Think about those thousands of homeless people who don’t have anywhere to go to at the end of the day.
Remember those times when you cried because you were happy? Remember those times when you cried because you felt that you just can’t take it anymore? Your tears are a part of some of the best and worst moments of your life. Be grateful for the emotions that these tears made you experience.
A dumb remark, a poor judgment call, a horrible perspective, that pathetic phone call. Every person makes mistakes and learns from them. Thank life for all the mistakes and be grateful for the valuable experiences that they gave you.
Be grateful if you have a fully functioning and healthy body. Many people in the world don’t even have the privilege of enjoying a fully functioning body.
